Evidence-Based Interventions & Implementation Strategies

This is your Services Page. It's a great opportunity to provide information about the services you provide. Double click on the text box to start editing your content and make sure to add all the relevant details you want to share with site visitors.

This hub was made to connect researchers in the field of implementation science and offers an introduction to implementation science concepts and a step-by-step guide to walk researchers through designing an implementation study from start to finish, from framing research questions to selecting theories, models, and frameworks and choosing measures.

The ACCORDS D&I navigation guide seeks to enable and equip researchers to close the gap between research and practice in the health field. It focuses on five main topics: 1) Why D&I is important; 2) Definitions, theories, and concepts; 3) Strategies and tools for designing successful D&I interventions; 4) Recommendations for evaluation design and measurement; and 5) Tips for success – for researchers and practitioners.

The Institute for Public Health’s Center for Dissemination and Implementation put together a list of recommended resources for researchers to use. It features news and information about D&I-related faculty, projects, events and implementation research across WashU. It also includes toolkits as well as funding and consultation opportunities.

Frameworks and models of implementation research are explained at this website. It also has opportunities for funding, options for continuing education on these topics, and examples of successful implementation of research into practice.
